Hiking in the Siebengebirge
Category:Hotel: Dorint Bonn Venusberg
Lace up your hiking boots and find out for yourself why the Rheinsteig is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany.
Equipped with a rucksack in which you can stow both your packed lunch and your hiking map, you set off from Bonn to Königswinter. On the first stage of the Rheinsteig, along the Rhine floodplains, you will cover a total of 22 kilometers in 7 hours. Forests, vineyards, spectacular views - this natural landscape offers an all-inclusive package. It is not for nothing that the Rheinsteig is one of the "Top Trails of Germany" - officially the most beautiful hiking trails in the country.
Drachenfels, Petersberg, Wolkenburg, Löwenburg, Nonnenstromberg, Lohrberg and Ölberg: even though there are over 50 mountains and hills in the Siebengebirge, the name comes down to the 7 most outstanding of them. Königswinter, the destination of your extensive hiking tour, lies at the foot of the legendary low mountain range. From here, you can take the streetcar back to Bonn main station without changing trains. You will have more than earned it!
This arrangement is not suitable for children.
