Equipped with a backpack in which you can store both your packed lunch and your hiking map, you set off from Bonn to Königswinter. On the first stage of the Rheinsteig, along the Rheinauen, you will cover a total of 22 kilometers within 7 hours. Forests, vineyards, spectacular views – this natural landscape offers the all-inclusive package. It is not for nothing that the Rheinsteig is one of the “Top Trails of Germany” – the officially most beautiful hiking trails in the country.
Drachenfels, Petersberg, Wolkenburg, Löwenburg, Nonnenstromberg, Lohrberg and Ölberg: Even though there are a total of over 50 mountains and hills in the Siebengebirge, the name refers to the 7 most outstanding among them. At the foot of the legendary low mountain range lies Königswinter, the destination of your extensive hiking tour. From here you can take the tram back to Bonn Central Station without changing. You more than deserve it!
